Choisy-le -Roi Ironstone Transferware Plate. This plate we believe from the 1840s, shows the image of Chateau De St Cloud (A palace in France overlooking the Seine at Saint-Cloud in Hauts-de-Seine.) It was made by Choisy, a factory just south of Paris, Due to its age it does have some manufacturing marks, a few minor chips and maybe a crack, as it is over 160 years old. This is a piece of French porcelain history. Plate measure 8 1/4" in diameter. A nice addition to an antique collection. We have a few other Choisy items in stock as well.
