Haviland Tea Cup and Saucer; Depose Demitasse Tea Cup and Saucer, Circa 1887; Antique Tea Cup; Vintage Teacup
Haviland and Co Depose demitasse tea cup and saucer. This lovely set bears the backstamp on the saucer that dates it from 1887, the cup bears a slightly different stamp that dates it from an even earlier time frame (1876-1886). The cup is decorated with delicate white flowers set against green leaves on a branch that winds around the cup. The cups is further accented with pink and gold. The saucer is painted with gold in a crackled pattern and is accented with pink along the scalloped edges. They pair together for a unique and stunning set.
They are in remarkable condition for their age. They are free from any chips, cracks or crazing.
The saucer measures 4 1/2" in diameter. The cup measures 2 1/2" tall X 2 1/4" in diameter.
